MotoAmerica Reschedules Road Atlanta Round Of 2020 Series

MotoAmerica has announced that it has rescheduled the Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta round of the 2020 MotoAmerica Series from April 17-19 to July 31-August 2 due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

With the opening round of the series originally scheduled for Circuit of The Americas in Austin, Texas, already postponed until November because of the Coronavirus, Road Atlanta was slated to be the opening round of the 2020 MotoAmerica Series. As it stands now, the series will begin at VIRginia International Raceway in Alton, Virginia, May 1-3, though MotoAmerica is continuing to monitor that situation as well.

23rd Annual Motul Petit Le Mans Event Update

The 23rd Annual Motul Petit Le Mans at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta has been rescheduled to Oct. 14-17, 2020, as announced by the International Motor Sports Association (IMSA) and track officials today. The event weekend was originally planned for the previous week, Oct. 7-10.

The date change for Motul Petit Le Mans was one of three date changes announced today by IMSA, and the new Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta date provides IMSA teams a more balanced schedule as the season comes to its conclusion.

Any tickets previously purchased will be valid during the rescheduled Motul Petit Le Mans event dates, Oct. 14-17. IMSA and Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta will provide additional series updates, broadcast information and event schedules as they become available.
