For the past 20+ years, Motul Petit Le Mans has been THE sporting event in the southeast to experience. With four days’ worth of on-track battles, culminating in the 10-hour IMSA WeatherTech Championship finale showdown on Saturday, November 13th, the action is nonstop. Non-Stop Racing Action During Motul Petit Le Mans Weekend

The 10-hour Motul Petit Le Mans on Saturday, November 13th is certainly the feature of the weekend schedule, but there is plenty of additional racing action to enjoy in between IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship sessions! Beginning on Wednesday and culminating on Friday with the FOX Factory 120, fans can experience additional series of unique racing. The FOX Factory 120 on Friday afternoon showcases the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge, while the IMSA Prototype Challenge, Porsche Carrera Cup North America, and the Idemitsu Mazda MX-5 Cup presented by BFGoodrich will also be competing for victory at the Motul Petit Le Mans event weekend. These series offer fans a different kind of racing to appreciate – the action is non-stop at the 24th Annual Motul Petit Le Mans!

FOX Factory 120

The FOX Factory 120 on Friday of race week is a 120-minute flat out sprint to the checkered flag for all IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge teams! This exciting feature race showcases manufacturers from the likes of Chevrolet, BMW, Porsche, McLaren, Mercedes-AMG, Aston Martin and more as they duel for the top step of the podium.

Round 3 of the IMSA Michelin Endurance Cup

This year, Motul Petit Le Mans serves as Round Four of the Michelin Endurance Cup – a four-round championship within the larger IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship made up exclusively of the endurance rounds on the season-long calendar. The IMEC tallies points from the four endurance rounds throughout the season to decide a winner. A total of 52 hours of competition between the four events will decide the winner of this prestigious and coveted title.

The recently paved Fan Zone is a great place to retreat to and grab a bite to eat, a cold drink or a souvenir to take home. With interactive displays, entertainment and memorabilia also available to browse, the Fan Zone is just another reason why Motul Petit Le Mans offers something for everyone.
Families can also check out the Kids Zone, which is one of the greatest vistas around the circuit. Parents can let their kids loose on inflatables and relax with the picturesque Road Atlanta esses framing one of the most well-known series of curves in all of racing. Best of all, children 12 and under enter the event for free with a paid adult.
The 24th Annual Motul Petit Le Mans truly offers something for everyone, from the die-hard IMSA fan to the casual spectator who just wants to have a good time with friends. The amount of things to see and do are endless, and the on-track action at Motul Petit Le Mans is sure to keep you on the edge of your seat!

Daytona Prototype International (DPi)

The fastest and most technologically advanced sports cars in North America, the Daytona Prototype international (DPi) is specifically designed and engineered for the race track. DPi cars use chassis built to international specifications powered by engines from mainstream automotive manufacturers like Acura, Cadillac and Mazda. In addition, DPi bodywork includes styling cues that align with these engine manufacturers.

Le Mans Prototype 2 (LMP2)

The Le Mans Prototype 2 (LMP2) is a closed-cockpit car developed by four approved constructors. In addition to the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, LMP2 cars are eligible to compete in other global series such as the FIA World Endurance Championship, which includes the prestigious 24 Hours of Le Mans.

GT Le Mans (GTLM)

Utilizing the same technical regulations as the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the GTLM cars are the most elite and fastest GT cars on the track. Based on production models, they are engineered to extract the maximum performance possible. The class serves as a true proving ground for leading manufacturers such as BMW, Corvette, Ferrari and Porsche.

GT Daytona (GTD)

The GT Daytona cars are enhanced (not defined by) technology and utilize the global FIA-GT3 specification. The GTD class consists of cars from leading manufacturers such as Acura, Audi, BMW, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Lexus, McLaren, Mercedes-AMG, and Porsche.
