Drift Atlanta Logo Contest
Attention race fans! Road Atlanta is holding a contest to find the person who can design the most creative Drift Atlanta logo. We are looking for a unique and exciting logo with a new twist to use as the icon for this event! All submissions must be turned in via e-mail to by January 14th at 5pm. Provide your first and last name, street address, no post office boxes, city, state, zip code, telephone number and email address.
Winner will receive
- Four General Admission tickets to the 2012 Drift Atlanta event and one parking pass
- VIP seating for the winner only in the Announcer Tower (not offered to public)
- Drift car ride for the winner only with a pro driver on track (only for the winner, not offered to public)
- The total value of the contest winnings is $750
- Logo should use no more than 4 colors (for example: red, blue, yellow, black)
- Logo must have the wording “Drift Atlanta”
- Logo should be clean and simple
- Avoid using drop shadows, beveled edges or other Photoshop effects
- Preferred format is EPS vector file create in Adobe Illustrator or Freehand
- Outline all fonts in your design
- Submitted file size should not exceed 3MB
- Be creative
Contest is void where prohibited. All applicants must be 18 years of age or older. All submissions become property of Road Atlanta. All entrants by submitting an entry agree to relinquish all copyright rights, including moral rights to Road Atlanta. The contest begins 12:00:01 AM Eastern Time ("ET") on December 16, 2011 and ends at 5:00:00 PM ET on January 14, 2012. Winner will be announced January 18, 2012. Each entry must be your original design, and not a copy that may be subject to the rights of a copyright holder or otherwise actionable under copyright or other laws. The winner shall be required to sign a waiver and release of liability in order to be allowed entry into a drift car with a professional or other driver. Failure or refusal to sign any waiver and release of liability forfeits the right to a ride in a drift car.
All registration data, including e-mail addresses, provided by entrants will be used by Road Atlanta and shared with Formula Drift for their respective and subsequent marketing purposes. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR TO WIN A PRIZE
Eligibility: the Contest is open to legal U.S. residents who are 18 years of age or older as of January 1, 2012. The Contest is void where prohibited by law. Employees and officers and representatives (and members of their immediate families and those living in the same household of each) of Road Atlanta, its parent and affiliated companies, advertising and promotion agencies and any company involved in the design, execution or production of the Contest (collectively the "Promotion Affiliates") are not eligible.
General: The potential winners will be required to complete an Affidavit of Eligibility and a Liability/Publicity Release (unless prohibited by law). The Affidavit and Liability/Publicity Release must be returned within ten (10) days of Road Atlanta's provision of these documents. Potential winner will also be required to send a copy of his/her passport, driver's license, birth certificate or other appropriate documentation (acceptable to Road Atlanta) as proof of age and residency. Non-compliance with any of these requirements will result in disqualification, in which case an alternate winner will be chosen. Return of prize notification and/or the Affidavit/Release as undeliverable will result in disqualification and an alternate winner will be selected. If a potential winner cannot take the prize on the dates indicated, the prize is forfeited and an alternate winner will be selected for that prize. Road Atlanta has the right to provide a prize or prize component of equal or greater value. Road Atlanta has no obligation for compensation or reimbursement of any kind if a winner and his/her companion and cannot attend the Drift Atlanta event for any reason. Prizes cannot be transferred, or substituted and there are no cash options available. All federal, state, local, and other taxes on prizes are the sole responsibility of the winner.
All decisions of Road Atlanta in any matter relating to this Contest shall be binding and final. Entries will be deemed made by the sending of an email confirmed received by Road Atlanta's server. A potential winner may be required to provide Road Atlanta with satisfactory proof that he/she is the authorized account holder of the e-mail address associated with the potentially winning entry. Entries generated by a script, macro or other automated means will be disqualified. Multiple entrants are not permitted to share the same e-mail address. Any attempt by any entrant to obtain more than the stated number of entries by using multiple/different/duplicitous e-mail addresses, the use of a Contest service, the use of multiple identities, registrations and logins, or any other methods will void that entrant's entries. Entries that are incomplete, contain irregular or invalid information, or are corrupted are void and will not be accepted. If, for reasons beyond the Road Atlanta's control (including, but not limited to, tampering or computer virus infection), the Contest is not capable of running as originally planned, Road Atlanta, at its sole discretion, reserves the right to cancel or modify the Contest, without liability and to the extent feasible, will award prizes among entries received prior to cancellation or modification. Road Atlanta will not be responsible for Internet, computer hardware and software, phone, and other technical errors, malfunctions, and delays. All entrants agree to comply fully with each provision in these Official Rules. Any person attempting to defraud or in any way tamper with this Contest and any person who does not comply with these Official Rules, will be ineligible for any prize(s) and may be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. By submitting an Entry, you grant to Road Atlanta the right, except where prohibited by law, to use your name, likeness, picture, address (city and state), e-mail address, voice, biographical information, and written or oral statements, for advertising and promotional purposes in promoting or publicizing Road Atlanta or the Drift Atlanta event, without compensation unless required by law. You shall have no right of approval, no claim to compensation, and no claim (including, without limitation, claims based on invasion of privacy, defamation, or right of publicity) arising out of any use, blurring, alteration, or use in composite form of your name, picture, likeness, address (city and state), e mail address, biographical information, or entry.
Release of Liability and Issues of Law: By participating in this Contest, all entrants release Road Atlanta, its parent companies, affiliates, partners, subsidiaries, officers, directors, agents, employees and all entities associated with the development and execution of this promotion from any and all liability with respect to and in any way arising from participating in this promotion, acceptance or use of prizes. Entrants also agree that Road Atlanta, its parent companies, their affiliates, partners, subsidiaries, officers, directors, agents, employees and all entities associated with the development and execution of this promotion are not responsible or liable for any injury or damage to an entrant's or third person's computer related to or resulting from the Contest, the Entries and/or its prizes. Road Atlanta is not liable for damage to a user's computer system (including, without limitation, any server failure or lost, delayed or corrupted data or other malfunction) due, either directly or indirectly, to an entrant's participation in the Contest or downloading of information in connection with the Contest. Road Atlanta reserves the right to modify or cancel the Contest in the event that any portion of any website or email address used to administer any aspect of the Contest becomes technically corrupted. All Federal, state and local laws and regulations are applicable. THE GEORGIA COURTS (STATE AND FEDERAL) SHALL HAVE SOLE JURISDICTION OF ANY CONTROVERSIES REGARDING THE CONTEST AND THE LAWS OF THE STATE OF GEORGIA SHALL GOVERN THE CONTEST. EACH ENTRANT WAIVES ANY AND ALL OBJECTIONS TO JURISDICTION AND VENUE IN THOSE COURTS AND HEREBY SUBMIT TO THE JURISDICTION OF THOSE COURTS. The Contest is void where restricted or prohibited by law.
