The WKA / Dunlop Tire National
Road Racing Series driven by Mazda wraps up the 2010 season
at Road Atlanta. Robby Harper and the Big South Gang will be the host
as once again, drivers will vie for many points’ championships
at this historic road circuit in Braselton, GA.
This year’s event will mark the 7th
consecutive year for the finale to be held at Road Atlanta. Hopefully,
Mother Nature will cooperate (to the dismay of drought-stricken Southern
States) and provide a weekend full of sunshine and great racing weather.
Pre-entries and points battles going into this year’s event make
for a weekend of exciting road racing action. By Sunday evening, the
2010 championships will be decided.
The World Karting Association (WKA) is a
membership- owned, non-profit corporation formed in 1971 to
regulate and promote the sport of competitive kart racing.
We establish the rules and procedures to set standards by which
to sanction tracks and to conduct annual championships for
various types of karting. WKA has grown to over 10,000 active
members and 120 sanctioned tracks nationwide to make it the
largest sanctioning body for kart racing in the United States
and one of the largest in the world.
