Petit’s Greatest Fan!

Many of Road Atlanta’s fans wrote to us explaining why they are Petit Le Mans' greatest fan! We looked through every e-mail and finally decided who was actually, the most dedicated Petit fan over the last 12 years of racing! It was a tough choice but we finally narrowed it down to one lucky person: Ken Mason of Kenner, LA!

Read his story below:

"I first heard about it while at the Porsche 50th anniversary event at Laguna Seca in August 1998. I decided on the way back home to New Orleans that I would attend the first Petit. We drove to get there on Friday, saw the race Saturday, and drove home Sunday. It has become an annual trip to Road Atlanta every fall. Even when Hurricane Katrina closed the airport in New Orleans in September 2005, we bought a tent, drove to the race and camped on the infield above turn 10. Nothing can keep me away from Petit Le Mans."
